Conditions of Service

The Owner of the bitch shall furnish the Owner of the stud dog with the following information prior to the breeding:
- A copy of AKC registration papers
- 3 generation pedigree and
- A picture of bitch

The bitch must be current with immunization and health records.
The Owner must provide a Negative Brucellosis Test.
(Brucellosis is a disease caused by the bacteria canis. It is a major cause of sterility and spontaneous abortion in dogs.)
The Bitch must be within expectable conformation with AKC Standard.
The Bitch must have had at least (2) two heat cycles.

 

The stud service fee is payable at the time of service. There are two options for payment:

Option A   $1,000.00 (one thousand) US Dollars

OR

Option B $500.00 (five hundred) US Dollars and pick of the litter at 7 weeks

If Option B is chosen, the stud dog Owner reserves the right to withhold signing the AKC litter registration until said puppy is in possession of the stud dog Owner.

                Personal checks are not accepted.

 

 Two (2) puppies constitute a litter. The Owner of the bitch is entitled to a free second breeding if: A) No conception results     or
                     B) Less then 2 two puppies are produced

If two (2) puppies result from the breeding, the Owner of the bitch is entitled to a second stud service for a reduced fee of $500.00.

The second breeding must take place on the bitch’s next heat. The Owner of the bitch must have the bitch evaluated by an experienced veterinarian prior to the second breeding. The evaluation by an experienced veterinarian is to establish the fertility of the bitch. To receive the second stud service, the Owner of the bitch must notify the stud dog Owner of the negative results from the previous breeding within 70 days. If the stud dog is no longer available for the second breeding, the stud Owner reserves the right to offer a different stud dog of equal or greater quality.

It is understood that the Owner of the stud dog shall maintain responsible and vigilant care of the bitch while she is in their care. It is also understood that the Owner of the bitch will assume all costs incurred should any medical treatment by a licensed veterinarian be required for the bitch while in our care.

The Owner of the bitch will be furnished with a record of the breeding dates, and if possible a photographic record of the breeding.

It is the responsibility of the Owner of the bitch to advise the Owner of the stud dog of any habits, behavioral problems and/ or medical conditions of the bitch being bred.

Any bitch that cannot be bred due to viciousness or any other extreme behavior problems will be returned to the Owner. A refund of the stud fee minus a 15% handling fee will be returned.

The Owner of the Bitch must advertise the sale price for the puppies no less than $1500.00. There are different factors affecting the sale of puppies: sex, color, size, age, and health. Each puppy is an individual, yet to deliberately sell a puppy for a lower price is a dishonor to the breed. Advertising to sell Bullmastiff puppies for a lower than market value price hurts the breed as a whole. In order to continue to produce quality Bullmastiff puppies (which are still classified as a Giant Rare Breed) a standard among breeders must be kept. In others words, if you want to breed to one of Guardian Angel Bullmastiff's studs, than do not sell puppies for less, and/or for fast money. The Owner of the stud dog is available for support to help you in any way (whelping of pups, advertisement, and sale, etc). Conducting good business occurs when everyone benefits (The Bullmastiff breed, the Breeders, the clients who purchase the Bullmastiff puppies).
