Hi my name is Toni Donovan . My husband is Jeff . We have four kids , Shannon who is married to Tonya , they have Bree and Dillon . Mike who has Angel , Robbie who is married to Holly, they have Bo and newest addition Wade . Kristin Freeman who is 12 and our only one still at home.
Our adventure with Bullmastiffs started after Jeff ' s Blue Heeler , Katie Bug got ran over . He
did not want another dog because he did not think he could replace Katie Bug . One day shopping for rock for my reef tank he saw a English Mastiff . He said to me on the way home that he had always wanted a Bullmastiff but never would pay that for a dog . WELL the search began. I happened to see an add for one puppy left . I called thinking it would be sold already . Well with much talking and persistance Daisy came home with me . I was so excited . Rob and Holly came over to see the suprize of Jeff coming home to a new baby girl . He appeared happy but still did not think he could love her as much as he did Katie . To my suprize we all fell in love with her. Our life changed . She brought a new kind of love and excitement to our home .
We have learned alot since that day . I have a Maltese , Cricket . Kristin has a Shepherd , Champ . Jeff had Daisy . The rule of one dog each no longer stands . We soon got Duke , then CoCoa , and then Onya . We now have Hank who absolutely loves to be inside . A lot has been learned about dogs in packs and girls in heat . SOOO Daisy of course at five months old was attacked by a Pit Bull . She survived leaving a scar from ear to ear . Which I have learned a traumatized dog will never forget and always be the dominate one . I also believe all situations are different with different owners and different dog situations. The same as our children. Of course she was the first and most spoiled so she was the leader . Onya we took in as an older Bullmastiff. Knowing that I read that a pack of Bullys would not always welcome an older one to their pack . I really wanted her to be able to run with them . There were days I came home and she looked ruffed up but not too bad . Well the day came when all my girls , Daisy , Onya and CoCoa were in heat . I left for work to get a call the dogs jumped Onya . Well my sweet Onya did not make it . My call to the vet the next morning made a ruff day at work knowing my girl was all alone when she died. I quickly had kennels built to separate my girl while in heat and to not let them run in a pack when we were not home . We had to make a very tough decision of separating a few dogs . Daisy now lives with my son Shannon in South Carolina . We all miss her greatly and at times I want to bring her back . I do not think Shannon or Tonya would allow it . They have now experienced the love of a Bully and are now addicted . We will be still breeding her . Those puppies will be blessing homes in South Carolina . Of course also any where else if wanted . My son Robbie and Holly now are the proud owners of Duke. They now know the love of a Bully . Yes they are in love. They are happy to let thier sons grow up with their newly found friend Duke. When they visit they always bring him over.
We are always learning and choose to share our knowledge with you . Wisdom is greatly needed when you breed or even if you choose more than three dogs to run together .
I know that owning a Bullmastiff will change your life forever. It did ours . Truely what a family we have .
We also have horses . We have Dolly , Dakota with new baby Destiny , Buddy and Morgan . We love our horses also .
God Bless You . Thank you so much for taking time to visit with us and to get to know us . I hope you enjoy your visit with us .

Bullmastiffs are exstremely loyal to their families and edgar to please . We believe once you have owned a Bully no other breed will compare to these gentle guardians .
