Hi my name is Toni Donovan . My husband is Jeff . We have four kids , Shannon who is married to Tonya , they have Brea and Dillon . Mike , Amanda and Angel . Robbie who is married to Holly, they have Bo , Wade and Malachi . Kristin Freeman who is 16 and our only one still at home.

Our adventure with Bullmastiffs started after Jeff ' s Blue Heeler , Katie Bug got ran over . He did not want another dog because he did not think he could replace Katie Bug . One day shopping for rock for my reef tank he saw a English Mastiff . He said to me on the way home that he had always wanted a Bullmastiff but never would pay that for a dog . WELL the search began. I happened to see an add for one puppy left . I called thinking it would be sold already . Well with much talking and persistence Daisy came home with me . I was so excited . Rob and Holly came over to see the surprise of Jeff coming home to a new baby girl . He appeared happy but still did not think he could love her as much as he did Katie . To my surprise we all fell in love with her. Our life changed . She brought a new kind of love and excitement to our home .

 

Kristin has a Shepherd , Champ . Jeff has Trixie . I have CoCoa . The rule of one dog each no longer stands . We have Hank who absolutely loves lids. We have learned alot about dogs in packs and girls in heat . Daisy was our first Bully at five months old was attacked by a Pit Bull. She survived leaving a scar from ear to ear . Which I have heard a traumatized dog will never forget and always be the dominate one. I also believe all situations are different with different owners and different dog situations . The same as our children . Of course she was the first and most spoiled so she was the leader . Onya we took in as an older Bullmastiff . Knowing that I read that a pack of Bully's would not always welcome an older one to their pack . I really wanted her to be able to run with them . There were days I came home and she looked ruffed up but not too bad . Well the day came when all my girls , Daisy , Onya and CoCoa were in heat . I left for work to get a call the dogs jumped Onya . Well my sweet Onya did not make it . My call to the vet the next morning made a ruff day at work knowing my girl was all alone when she died . I quickly had kennels built to separate my girl while in heat and to not let them run in a pack when we were not home . We had to make a very tough decision of separating a few dogs .

Anya is also my sweet little girl . She is so full of life . She acts so innocent it is hard to believe she is part mountain goat. Our Corvette wears her prints any time it is not put up . When my Chevy truck is home she sits on the very top. Now she climbs in our boat to reconstruct the seats. What a girl . I sure do love her. Of course these are my husbands stories . I don't believe it . I refuse to look at the pictures he takes . Anya now lives with Tom Lewis. He came to visit and fell in love with her. She now is the love of his life. CoCoa is a spoiled girl. She is such a lap Dog. If you sit down she knows you want to hold her. She thinks everyone likes her the best. Now our Hank we are so happy to have this wonderful fancy footed Bullmastiff. He is just awesome. Sure of who and what he is . The least trouble maker we have. He can stand his own but never does anything to cause a problem. One Handsome Boy. The oldest but yet the most playful .Trixie is the heart beat of Jeffs heart. Of course he loves me. BUT Jeff thinks no one has ever loved him as much as Trixie does. Jeff says he loves that girl as much as he did Katie Bug . He is so happy to have his girl . She is truelly a sweet heart. Miss Daisy is almost ready to breed. What a big girl she is. She was always more lively than the rest but loves hugs and kisses. You would never know how busy she use to be. We are SO excited to see her first pups.

Duke was are first male. He is now back and what a sweet laid back boy. He is fawn brindle. He lives with Liby Combee in North Lakeland. She loves that boy and thinks he is the greatest. Tank is a Hank son that came to visit . He needed a home so he spoke to Jeff about moving in with us. WELL it worked Jeff fell in love. He is something else. He has his own lazy boy chair and shares Jeffs man cave (shop) which is 40 x 88, with Jeff.

Zeke is a red male who is in love with everyone. ALL the boys and girls. He wants to play with the all. What a joy to have such a great boy given to us. He is so easy. He has had 2 litters so far and great looking pups. Zeke now is in South Carolina with my son Shannon and his girl Abby.

We just got 2 new girls Summer Sky and no name baby girl. Will put her name as soon as we know what it will be.
